Wizard Island magically collects a
blizzard of clouds and misty webs
of fog that stretch out over the lake
like a Native weaver’s thread of
delicate fabric woven across a
snowy shoreline with rising mountains
above this little wizard of an island
in the midst of a vast volcanic lake,
remaining calm, cold and reflective.
