Today, with my friend, I will make Origami figures, will fold white flimsy paper into a thousand cranes.
We will “pass a good time.” Say aloud, “Be gone,” like a Rosemary against the devil – protecting the young, we will strongly state,
“I will have no more of thee!”
No more agonizing about monster storms, tornadoes, mud slides, tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes, forest fires, and sunspots.
Just a peaceful afternoon, white cranes honking, having a party, celebrating one hundred years of a quiet future.
