In the turbulent
Rip tides of your life
To burst through
It rocks
A wall stands tall, a line in the sand
Dreams on hold, as hope slips from hand
Yet hearts still soar, across the divide
In the murkiness of the evening
Looking for comfort from the misery
That torment our hearts and brains
The mallet of divine beings plunges heavily
Setting us free from the chains
From aggravation long last
Liberated from the weight
That once consumed us
For freedom’s call done right cannot be denied
