Jennifer L Howse, PhD, served as March of Dimes Foundation President for 25 years, and was recognized for her many contributions to maternal and child health by election to the National Academy of Medicine in 2011. She began writing poetry during the pandemic, and recently completed her first chapbook. Her poems have appeared in Chronogram Magazine, Frogpond Journal, and Trash Panda.
