If you see something fragile and furtive
reach green from seething earth,
say something.
If you see snowmelt pummel a gorge
with cool and soothing cavalcade,
say something.
If you see someone you love
or once loved or
might have loved
or perceive beauty buried
beneath the banal, in the most
ordinary of circumstances,
for God’s sake!
