My Window

Location

Sitting, enjoying
the forest, the plants
The deer are here
twin fawns
too cute!
The hawks are flying
searching for food
The robins are
catching insects
in the grass
Other birds have
gathered, waiting
for a turn at
the birdbath
The milkweed is
nearing bloom
hopefully attracting
butterflies
I miss them…
Sitting at the window
brings peace and joy
everyday…
