Bobs between
Lavender blossoms,
Long-stemmed dancers
In morning airs,
Trailing violet scarves
And seducing perfume —
One —
The last refugee
From chemicals
Meant to kill all?
The thought chills.
But wings flash silver
As a second bee
Dips to join her sister.
