Runaway,
part of a broken home; from the cuckoo’s nest we’ve not yet fully flown.
Faraway,
from all that’s familiar, the only environment we’ve ever known.
Become astray,
soon to be past the tipping point(?), and no sign of slowing down.
Runaway,
hurtling toward a future unknown.
