The Need for Trees

Location

A gentle giant
Adding beauty to the world
It’s towering presence
A sight to see
Green and lush
In the summer
Colorful and festive
In the fall
Bare and dormant
In the winter
Budding and delicate in the spring
As beneficial
As it is beautiful
Providing shelter for wildlife
Providing oxygen
Providing shade
And cooling us down
Making us happy
As we smile and admire its beauty
And much more
We need more trees
Not less
Deforestation
Out of the equation
More trees for their beauty and benefits
All
Of which we need
