in reflections see our visions
moving dreams, shadowed shapes
a shifting world echoed in panes of
dark glass reaching up to the light.
see your face in the rippling lake, deep
emerald green water, today becomes
tomorrow, snapping against now’s sharp
splits. we can never see our own faces.
we see reflections in our own mirages. look
into your glittering eyes, imagine the shards of
a world shattered by fear and greed or a
whole world blooming with tender petals of care.
