Clear crisp winter air
sharpens a full moon.
Shining through
bare tree branches,
it captures me like
Mona Lisa eyes –
like a woman’s gaze -|
that grabs you
and won’t let go.
Tree shadows stripe
the snow lit forest floor.
A carefree bunny frolics.
I regret hunting rabbits
in the moonlight.
