Walking where the Earth hums deep below
Among the presence of a large volcano
The trees stand tall, covering the land
Large branches reach out like hands
As the water of a geyser grew
The air was painted a vibrant blue
Like Icarus, it rises high
A breath blown into the sky
Gazing in amazement at the springs
Spirited with sparkling nature
Their rapid boiling, a pulsing sound
Sprouts from inside the heart of the ground
The waterfalls, like a graceful stream
And rivers, winding like a dream
Large mountains reigning over the land
I can not believe the nature where I stand
The animals roam with steady grace
Bison lay scattered among the space
Swift deer run through terrain
As the brightness of the sun begins to drain
Dusk rises upon the wilderness
The day slips by, the air grows calm
Shadows stretch among the ground
Soon the area is tranquil and sound
In this time, the place is still
A peace, amidst the land, is filled
Soon the scene may lay to doze
Yellowstone’s complexion, what it shows
